If you are an artist, you need to make your art. That's not an overstatement—it's a fact; if you stop doing your creative work, your quality of life is diminished. – Beth Pickens
Join me for a four-week creative exchange! The premise is simple: every day, you will respond to a creative prompt from me. You will share what you made with a partner, and briefly reflect on what you liked about your partner’s work. That’s it.
Creativity is a muscle; the more we use it, the stronger it gets. AND - it benefits from limitation, structure, existing in the world, and community. We all need systems to be accountable to our own creativity. Also, a crucial part of the art-making process is having an audience, however small. The goal of this class is to provide all of these things, for a limited time. Perhaps you will generate a seed of an idea during the next four weeks that you will nurture into something bigger. Perhaps you will need a low-stakes way to get back in touch with your own generative, expansive, creative self. The spirit of this class is generative, focused on cultivating inspiration, motivation and self-discipline.

Class dates: March 16th-April 14th. Class will meet one time on Zoom on Sat. March 16th 10-11 PST, and will be asynchronous for the remainder.
Note: in order for this class to be successful, you must be able to commit approx. 20 minutes per day to creating something and responding to your partner. If you anticipate being unavailable for any part of the course dates, but are still interested, let me know at mackenziebrowncoaching.com and we can work something out.
